Tredegar cemented their place at the top of Division Two East by winning 16-10 at Brynmawr, who could have moved to within three points of the leaders had they won.

A try from David Ford and three penalties from Greg Jones ensured this did not happen. Tredegar now have a nine point lead at the top after second placed Bedlinog slipped up at Gilfach Goch, losing 22-10.

Bedlinog and Gilfach Goch are locked on 31 points with two other teams, Mountain Ash and Llantristant, who both picked up wins.

Division Three East leaders Garndiffaith prepared for next week’s Swalec Cup clash with Llanelli in fine style on beating Cwmbran 35-6.

Garndiffaith crossed the try line six times, with Ben Jones, Chris Baldwin, Lee Wright, Matthew Billings and Geraint Jones putting their names on the scoresheet.

Garn’s lead at the top is now ten points after the second and third placed clubs, Croesyceiliog and Pontypool United, drew 5-5.

Llantwit Fardre stay on top of Division Three South East after their 28-11 victory at Tylerstown, but Treorchy, who have two games in hand, keep up the pressure on the leaders with a 24-3 win over Aberdare.

Natyglo are now level on points at the top of Division Four East after their 25-10 win over Risca. Tries from Chris Williams, Chris Woodward and two from Richard Jones saw them earn a bonus point.

They still trail Llandaff, who won 12-0 at Monmouth, due to the number of tries each team has scored.
It is a similar situation in Division Four South East.

Heol Y Cyw put five tries past Ferndale in a 35-5 bonus point win, whilst leaders Pentyrch narrowly won 9-7 at Tonyrefail.

Despite both teams now being level on points, Pentyrch still top the table through having one more win.

Abercarn stuck eight tries past Ynysddu as they walloped their visitors 48-10, and now have a 15 point advantage at the top of Division Five East.

Cilfynydd moved up to second in Division Five South East after winning 20-17 at St Albans, whilst in Division Six East leaders Hartridge beat third place Beaufort 27-11.
