Round Up: SWALEC League West Divisons

The Villa Field outfit took full advantage of Buith Wells’ slip-up. Saturday morning’s leaders went down 11-10 against mid-table Ammanford in a hard fought game. 

Bridgend Athletic were the other team to leapfrog The Bulls, as they went second courtesy of an 18-0 triumph away at Mumbles. 

Gorseinon claimed their first win of the season with a 14-8 win over fellow strugglers Cwmavon. It was a good day for those at the wrong end of the Division Two West table, second-bottom Penclawdd also claimed a rare victory, beating BP Llandarcy 10-8. 

Pontyberem maintained their grip on the top of Division Three West with a 19-6 win over Llanelli Wanderers. 

Cardigan kept their slim title hopes alive with a 39-0 thrashing of Lampeter and Haverfordwest also claimed a bonus point with a 43-10 win over bottom-side Tumble. 

Tondu remain top of Division Three South West with a 29-5 victory against Kenfig Hill and Aberavon Quins stayed hot on their trail with a massive 52-5 win over Tonna. 

Llandeilo made it ten wins out of ten to stay top of Division Four West, beating Pontarddulais 34-0. Cwmgors claimed their first win of the season with a 16-3 triumph over Tycroes. 

Bryncoch beat Resolven 17-11 to leapfrog their opponents and at go top of Division Four South West. 

Cefneithen stay top of Division Five West thanks to a 11-3 victory over Neyland and Abercrave kept up their domination of Division Five South West with a 67-0 win at home to New Dock Stars.
