The squad travel to the Paris area this weekend for a Test against France in Soissons.
They then host Italy at Aberavon on Sunday 22 March before travelling to Parma for this season’s Under 18 Six Nations festival (April 10 – 18) where they will face Ireland (April 12), Scotland (April 15) and England (April 18).
King said, “This is the very first rung of the international ladder and these players are well aware of that. Having said that, we have prepared well for this season and we are looking forward to a tough opening game against France on Saturday.
“We have a good record against them in recent times so they will no doubt be out to stop that winning run of three matches.
“Lloyd Peers will captain the side from second row, while Aberavon centre Ben John is vice-captain. There are a lot of leaders in this side and we are looking forward to seeing how they develop.
“The challenge is not only to be successful as a team, but to develop these players for the future of our game.”
