Ryan Jones has been forced to withdraw from Wales’ RBS Six Nations clash with Scotland at Murrayfield this afternoon (Sunday) after failing a late fitness test on a calf strain.

The Wales captain will be replaced in the back row by Scarlets flanker Dafydd Jones, with uncapped Blues lock Bradley Davies coming into the squad as a replacement and Martyn Williams taking on the captaincy duties.

Jones has a minor strain to his calf and will be re-assessed next week, but is hoping to make a swift recovery.
