There will be plenty of sore heads in Tredegar this Monday after their side were crowned Champions of Division Two East

The champions did in style with a 50-5 victory over Abergavenny including seven tries. Their nearest rivals Bedlinog hardly went down without a fight, posting a 98-14 triumph over Fleur De Lys, Thomas Hiscock was the stand-out player from a rampant Bedlinog side, claiming five tries.

Treherbert fell to their 19th straight defeat of the season at the other end of the table, with a 57-10 home defeat against mid-table Brynmawr.

Garndiffaith took one step closer to the Division Three East championship with a 55-16 win at Newport HSOB. Outside-half Gavin Ashman claimed a personal haul of 20 points from the boot.

New Tredegar look doomed to relegation after their 17th defeat of the season with a 23-3 home defeat against Blaina.

The Division Three South East title race looks set to go down to the wire after Treorchy kept in touch Llantwit Fardre with an eleven-try, 71-3 win over Brecon. Llantwit Fardre hold a six-point lead at the top after their 22-18 win over Penarth.

Llandaff closed in on the Division Four East title with a 35-3 win over strugglers Chepstow, but still saw their lead cut by one point after Tredegar Ironsides grabbed a bonus point 76-0 win over Brynithel.
