Their task looks even more daunting after the two sides directly above them both won. Newport HSOB won 23-13 away at Croesyceiliog and Cwmbran edged out Nelson 19-18.Â
A hat-trick from Jamie Summers helped keep Treorchy’s faint title hopes alive in Division Three South East with a 45-21 win at Fairwater. They fully capitalised on leaders Llantwit Fardre’s shock 24-16 defeat at Llanishen.
Nathan Rees, Darren Lewis and Chris Woodland were among the scorers as Llandaff extended their lead at the top of Division Four East with a 44-10 victory over Pontllanfraith. Second-place Nantyglo slipped further away from the leaders as they fell to a 35-31 defeat at Machen, but did manage to claim two bonus points.Â
The Division Four South East title race looks set to go all the way, with Heol Y Cyw and Pentyrch each claiming bonus point wins over Taffs Well and Abercwmboi respectively.

Abercarn now look red-hot favourites to take the Division Five East Crown after their 29-17 win at home to Caldicot and it looks like a two-horse race in Five South East with Cilfynydd beating Cowbridge 46-19 and Barry hot on their heels with a 10-5 victory over Hirwain.
