Wales led 10-6 at the break and scored tries through Luke Williams and vice-captain Jack Gadd with Tom Prydie knocking over the rest of the points with two conversions and three penalties.
Simon King was a delighted Welsh coach and says the team can low look ahead to next week’s clash against England with renewed optimism.
“It was a comfortable victory for us but it was important we got back to winning ways after losing out to Ireland last week by one score.
“We fronted up well. We had plenty of go forward and it was pleasing to see a lot of the new guys who were given their chance, put their hands up. It’s going to make selection difficult for the next game but that’s the way you want it.
“The boys played with confidence in what was a very good team effort. We had a full week’s preparation in Parma for the game against Scotland and the boys’ character shone through in victory.”
Wales’s pack played with plenty of fire and brimstone and weren’t afraid to take the game to their Scottish counterparts while the backs displayed a real cutting edge at times.
Wales tackle England at Ebbw Vale’s Eugene Cross Park next Sunday at 2pm in their final game of the tournament.
