In the augural event held last year in Canada, the Welsh team returned without a single victory next to their name but this time round the Cardiff Quins fly half has set her side the target of reaching the final.
This year’s tournament kicks off with a match between Wales and USA and Snowsill is confident the team can get off to a winning start.
“I’m really excited about the tournament and just want to get started,” she said. “The feeling in the camp at the moment is really tense. I feel we’ve got a really strong team this year.
“The new players who have come in have brought with them an awesome attitude. The set-up is really professional. Training has been high-tempo and we are so much more prepared than 12 months ago. We know who we are coming up against. Everyone is so much more on the ball. We can definitely improve on last year, and definitely make the final – without a doubt.”
