An impressive performance by the North Walians saw them demolish the Welsh Premiership strugglers at Carmarthen with an emphatic 7-2 try count.
Controlling every phase of play, RGC’s scoring started as early as the 4th minute with a scrum pushover try credited to No.8 Jeremy Kyne, converted by outside half Connor Braid, who went on to convert a further five more.
Further tries in the first half were scored by full back Sean White, centre Tom Seddon and Kyne who scored his second try close to half time to make the score a thoroughly convincing 26-0.
The second half started with prop Buydens crashing over after some great work and interplay by the forwards.
Quins struck back with a try from wing Jason Howells, converted by Gareth Morgan. Seddon then completed his hat trick of tries with a brace in the second half following on from sustained periods of territorial domination.
Carmarthen Quins scored a consolation try through wing Ryan Llewellyn, converted again by Morgan to leave the final score 47-14.
