Following defeat on the opening weekend, Wales have strung together two away victories in recent weeks which leaves them second in the table with games against Ireland at the Millennium Stadium and then France in Paris a week later, still to come.
“We’ve won two games on the road. They haven’t been the prettiest of wins, but we will take them, and as a squad we know there is a lot more to come from us,” he said.
“It is important that against Ireland and France we deliver performances that are virtually error-free and our discipline is spot-on.
“Ireland have got international class players right through their team. Brian O’Driscoll is a great leader, and they are going to be a tough challenge.
“But we are in a good frame of mind. We’ve had two tough games away from home, and we are second in the table. It’s up to us now.
“There are a lot of players in the squad playing good rugby. I don’t think we’ve sort of come under any pressure, really, in the three games we’ve played. It has been down to our errors.
“We know Ireland will be a big threat, and it is important we make sure we cut down on errors and improve our discipline. We’ve been putting ourselves under a lot of pressure.”
