The Principality Premiership, SWALEC Cup and British & Irish Cup remain live for Ponty and as such every game is a massive one, every result counting full value in the quest for trophies.
The focus of the next two fixtures is on the Premiership, with two away games against West Wales opposition. A trip to Llandovery awaits on Tuesday 19th April but first up is a visit to Parc y Sacrlets on Thursday evening (14th April, KO 7.15pm)Â to face Llanelli.
This will entail a top of the table clash as Pontypridd defend pole position, up against a Llanelli team who have shown good form throughout the campaign to hold third spot, and who will be determined to secure an undisputed seeding in the Premiership Play-Off finals.
Following a consistent selection policy which utilises the strength of the squad in playing one big game after another, Pontypridd make seven changes, positional or in personnel, from the line up which started the SWALEC Cup semi final win over Swansea last Saturday.
Outside half Simon Humberstone is the only fresh casualty suffering shoulder damage and with Dean Gunter stepping into the pivot role, partnered at half back by Rhys Downes. Lewis Williams returns on the wing, with Stuart Williams in at loose head prop and Craig Locke into the second row. Ryan Savage shows his versatility by moving from the second to the back row to cover the no8 position for injured club captain Chris Dicomidis.
