Young targets three more wins

Cardiff Blues head coach Dai Young has targeted three victories in his side’s final three games as they push for a Magners League play-off place.

The Blues’ victory away to Connacht at the weekend and the Ospreys losing to the Dragons closed the gap between the two regions in the race for a top four finish.

Treviso are the visitors to Cardiff City Stadium tomorrow evening and then the Blues face two away derbies against the Dragons and the Scarlets to conclude the season and even though it is a tough ask Young has set his sights on three more victories.

“We know we have got three games left and we have to win all three,” said Young.

“That is going to be a tough ask in itself but if we do we stand a good chance of going through.

“We have worked hard to get into this position, plus a couple of results went our way last week.

“The important thing is that it is in our hands and that is all you can ask for at this stage.

“We three games left and the fact it is down to us is great we will only have ourselves to thank or ourselves to blame.”
