The following week Cross Keys will travel to Scotland to tackle Ayr on November 19.
Cross Keys, Neath, Aberavon, Llanelli, Pontypridd and Swansea will fly the flag for Wales in a tournament which will kick off with a clash of previous winners when Bristol Rugby travel to Cornish Pirates.
“We have always aspired to play in the British & Irish Cup and kicking-off up in Scotland is fantastic,” said Keys head coach Greg Woods.
“There has been a real buzz around the village and club about playing in the tournament and we are treating the matches as our marquee fixtures – we want to make a real impact in the competition.”
The third British & Irish Cup will see a change in format, with a cross-Pool fixture list which guarantees two home fixtures for each side and with all English ties played in midweek to ease potential weekend fixture congestion.
