Coach Chris Ower is able to welcome back one of Glamorgan Wanderers most potent try scorers in Joe Xiberras for the trip to Merthyr in a SWALEC League Division 1 East clash.

He replaces Joe Sullivan in the mid-field. Gareth cull, who was forced off last week, should be fit to start in a side that shows two other changes to the side that lost to Bargoed.

“Accuracy in attack let us down against Merthyr earlier this season, we will not be able to be as generous if we are to come away with a victory” commented Ower.

“Merthyr will be strong at home but there is a good spirit in the squad and there is no reason why we can’t get a result away from home” added Manager Gavin Walker

In the pack Ed Morris starts in the second row and Carl Kimber returns at number 8. Tom Rowlands who left the club for Cardiff in the summer continues his rehabilitation after injury with a place on the bench.
