The course which will run from Cardiff Institute of Sport, Sophia Gardens Cardiff, will take place on Wednesday 22nd of February and Thursday 15 March (both start 6pm).
The course will be delivered by the WRU Coach Development department with National Sevens coaches Paul John and Richard Hodges delivering the practical element of the course.
With tournaments Like Rosslyn Park, Monmouth and the Urdd on the horizon this will be a great chance for coaches to up skill themselves, this also contributes to the WRU coaching strategy as sevens coaching courses are one of the key areas of development.
As part of the course candidates also have the opportunity to observe the national team train at the same venue from 4.30 before the course starts. This is an unique opportunity for coaches to see how the current world champions prepare for the Hong Kong leg of the IRB Sevens world series.
This course is open to all Level 1 qualified coaches across the country. For information on the course, registration and payment please visit: www.wrucoaching.co.uk
