Following last Sunday’s opening victory against Ireland in Dublin the Welsh squad have trained well according to Howley and he wants the squad to take the attitude and confidence they have shown into their first home encounter.
“We have trained really well all week and the set-up has been good and the attitude spot on and we are really looking forward to taking that into Sunday afternoon,” he said.
“We are totally aware of Scotland and know we are in for a difficult game but confidence is good.
“Scotland played well against England and they created a lot of line breaks and we know they have always given us a good game.
“And anyone who saw the game two years ago knows what a great advert that was.
“But looking at ourselves we are in good shape and we are looking to play a ball in hand game and its good to hear Scotland want to do the same with the roof closed.
“I’m sure the supporters will pack out the stadium for what is going to be a cracking game.”
