A number of Welsh Rugby Union employees from north and south Wales have linked up to raise money for injured rugby players ahead of the big race.
Five WRU recruits have raised in excess of £1,000 for the Welsh Rugby Charitable Trust while preparing to join thousands of runners for the annual 26-mile race in London this weekend.
WRU Participation Officer in Colwyn Bay, Carwyn Lewis, will join his Llanelli colleague Daryl Richards as well as Cardiff and Swansea based Development Officers Matt Silva and Andy Williams to make up the WRU team.
They will be joined by the only female racer from the WRU, Hospitality Officer Amanda Williams, as they unite with some of the world’s greatest runners to tackle the route from Blackheath to Buckingham Palace.
