The back-row colleagues returned to action for the Dragons, following Wales’ tour of Australia, in the pre-season victory over London Irish two weeks ago.
And they are set to continue as the Men of Gwent welcome the Italian franchise to Rodney Parade on Friday night.
Will Harries and Ashley Smith return to the squad following injuries, while Adam Jones has recovered from foot surgery to be in contention for selection.
New signing Ian Nimmo, Dan Evans and Tom Prydie will also make their competitive debuts for the region.
But the Dragons will be without new captain Lewis Evans, who is still carrying an injury, and flanker Darren Waters who faces a prolonged period on the sidelines following a knee injury.
