Whitland carried on from where they left off last week with a display of power and pace which was too much to handle for Caernarfon.
After a scrum on half way a classic blind side move saw scrum half Emma Summons give a pass to Hannah Richards who used her electrifying pace to leave her winger for dead and side stepped the full back to score under the posts, the try was converted by full back Catherine Davies.
The second try wasn’t long in coming and up stepped speedy winger Richards again to make a break up the right before she was hauled down just short but she managed to pop a pass to outstanding flanker Angharad Williams to crash over near the posts making it an easy conversion for Davies.
Caernarfon were not to be outdone and after a rare lapse in the Whitland defence a break in midfield resulted in a penalty which was taken quickly allowing full back Dyddgu Hywel to crash in under the posts to score and make for an easy conversion for Sera Bailey.
From the kick off Whitland regathered possession and after some powerful drives from their forwards a neat chip ahead by Summons was touched down by Richards who again used her pace to outstrip the Caernarfon defence.
The second half started the same as the first with the Whitland pack powering up field and providing quick ball for centre Natalie Walsh to crash through the Caernarfon midfield to score under the posts, Davies again converting.
Caernarfon again came back and some powerful forward surges saw flanker Rhian Alaw Jones go over for a converted try.
Caernarfon were spurred on by this and had a long spell of possession in the Whitland 22 but good defence kept them out and after stripping the ball in a tackle on the try line powerful centre Walsh made a searing break up field and an offload on the half way to Richards saw her sprint to the try line untouched for her hat trick, converted again by Davies.
With the Caernarfon defence tiring there was time for one more try and after a slick backs move straight from the training paddock Richards crossed for her fourth making it nine tries in two games for the speedy winger.
Whitland’s Player of the match, picked by the opposition coaches, was open side flanker Angharad Williams.
