The University of Wales, Caerleon Campus, will host a mini and junior open coaching night for the Dragon’s region on Monday, October 22 at 6.30pm.
As part of continuing the professional development of coaches in the region, those who attend the session will watch WRU participation officers coach the minis and juniors for an hour long session.
They will then have the chance to ask the coaches questions with a review of the session to be available on the WRU’s Coaching Locker website.
The same venue will also play host to the next Dragon’s tag course which takes place at the university on November 14 at 6pm. Three coaches from the British School in Madrid will be in attendance and there are limited spaces available. To book a place visit the WRU website.
For coaches looking to gain their level two coaching badges in the region, the sessions taking place at Blackwood rugby club are the last chance to do so before the end of the year.
The deadline for applications to the course is this Sunday, October 14 with minimal places left to be booked. The 4 day course running at Blackwood takes place on November 9, November 11, December 7 and December 11. Book now via the WRU website.
