Despite the score being 24-15, Croesy Ladies were well and truly beaten in all bar the last 20 minutes.
Blaenau Gwent played an excellent kicking game through the boot of Vicki Jennings, gaining territory at every opportunity as well as through the strength and speed of prop, Megan York.
Their first two tries came quite quickly in the first half by Kim Boaler and Lauren Lewis with one conversion by Jennings. A further try by Rebecca Chivers put Blaenau 17 points clear before losing two players to the sin bin.
Croesy managed to use their two player advantage to edge back into the game with a try through Danielle Gagne but still found themselves down 17-5 at the break.
The second half continued in much the same vein with Croesy also receiving a yellow card enabling Blaenau Gwent to further capitalise with a try by Naomi Whybrow, converted by Jennings
Finally, 20 minutes from the end, Croesy decided to pick up their game and all too late, scored tries through Charlotte Kembrey and Natalie Gray.
