Last week’s west Wales derby between the Scarlets and Ospreys was called off due to the severe weather and both sides will be chomping at the bit to get their respective regional championship campaigns back on track.
The previously unbeaten Blues North suffered the ignominy of a derby defeat to their regional rivals Blues South in their last match and will be looking to right the wrongs from that game.
Scarlets meanwhile, have had an inconsistent season and will be looking to put in a fully committed performance against what is likely to be a dangerous Blues side.
In the other fixture, the Ospreys take on the Dragons at Llandarcy.
