Two games are taking place with a girls rugby development session taking place beforehand from 10.30am.

All girls aged 12-17 are welcome and will receive coaching from WRU Player Development staff before watching the two regional games later on.

The Blues, who triumphed in the regional warm up tournament at Llandovery last weekend, take on the Dragons in the opening game at 1pm before the Ospreys clash with the Scarlets at 3pm.

“It’s great to finally get the women’s regional tournament underway,” said Sophie Bennett, WRU Women’s Performance Manager.

“There were some impressive performances at the regional festival last weekend and hopefully all the girls will take that form into the regional games as they look to push for selection for the national squad.”
