The popular back-row forward has returned to Neath from London Welsh on a one-month loan deal and is almost certain to take his place in the Neath side which entertains Llanelli at The Gnoll on Saturday (kick off 2.30pm).

Lee captained Neath to the first double of the regional age in 2008/09 and he also has the distinction of having captained his nation to World Cup glory in the RWC Sevens.

He was part of the London Welsh team, coached by another ex-Neath man Lyn Jones, that won a place in England’s Premier Division for this season and turned out for the Exiles last weekend in their Amlin Cup game against Grenoble.

Neath coach Patrick Horgan said, “We are delighted to have a player of Lee’s quality back with us. His presence at training on Tuesday was a real tonic and our younger players can learn a lot from him.

“We are also delighted to have two Ospreys Academy players with us – Dafydd Howells and Jordan Collier who are both local lads. We hope to see more with us shortly as our efforts to rebuild the squad enter an exciting new phase.”
