Team manager Ian Hopkins said: “This is going to be a very different challenge to our normal league environment which will challenge our players in every way, but it’s tough challenges that make players grow so they will be able to show what they are made of on Sunday.
“We lost Nicky Thomas and Chris Shelmerdine in training this week, two of our more senior players but it’s up to the youngsters to step up to the plate.
“Having lost to Carmarthen Quins, it’s going to be a tough ask to progress from this pool but the next two weekends will decide our fate.”
