Much of the game was played in Sea View’s half of the pitch with tries coming through both forwards and backs. Kerry Jenkins crossed the line first after 15 minutes and successfully converted her own try.
Just 10 minutes later Charlotte Kembrey powered her way through to score. Her effort was quickly followed by Lee Hatherall and Carly Salter who touched down, all of which were converted by Jenkins to give Croesy a comfortable 28-0 lead at halftime.
Sea View gathered themselves in the second half and produced a more complete performance especially from their backs but they could not penetrate the determined Croesy defence with Rhiannon Brown making a couple of great “in to touch” tackles.
Croesy continued to dominate with particularly strong running by backs Sarah Thorne, Nicola Smith, Justine Desmond and Jess Evans. Hatherall, Justine Desmond and a sprint in from the half way line by Abby Nascimento completed the rout for Croesy. A further two successful conversions by Jenkins ensured Croesy cruised through to the next round.
Lee Hatherall was named Croesy forward of the match while Abby Nascimento claimed the honour among the backs.
Croesy now look forward to their next fixture, away to Gorseinon, Sunday 27th January.
