Rob Howley’s side emerged with a 30-3 win courtesy of two second half tries from Alex Cuthbert.
Leigh Halfpenny and Dan Biggar booted 20 points between them to secure a wide margin victory.
The win meant Wales comfortably retained their Six Nations title with England’s only response coming through a penalty from fly half Owen Farrell.
Hooker Richard Hibbard was a happy man in the immediate aftermath of the game.
“As an eight we scrummaged well. Personally, I’ve been delighted to be involved. I’ve always wanted to win a championship and to do that is great, the boys are happy.
“A lot of the boys have put their hand up for the Lions, they were very impressive. Personally I want to get back to the Ospreys, we’ve got the Dragons Friday and we need to push for the play-offs.
“It was absolutely amazing. The support was brilliant and everyone stayed till the end. You couldn’t ask for a better crowd, a better atmosphere and a better stadium really.
“It wasn’t easy, it may have looked it but it was very tough out there. The first 40 were very fast and we knew what we had to do. It was a very impressive way to win.
“It was my sort of game. I like to be physical, I like to throw myself about and it was a bonus to last as long as I did.
“We could have had the Grand Slam but it was one of those things. The boys grew into the tournament and today was the finished article.”
