With England chasing a Grand Slam and Wales seeking to retain their crown, it promises to be a hell-raising encounter.
North forms part of an unchanged Wales back line with Justin Tipuric and Gethin Jenkins returning to the pack – the latter leading the side out.
And on the eve of the game, North knows this is as big as it gets.
“You can’t beat around the fact that it’s a big game but as a professional you have to focus and it’s about getting ready for Saturday,” said North.
“Growing up in Wales, England is always a big game and coming to this level now it’s massive.”
The atmosphere tomorrow evening promises to be anything but quiet with a full house screaming on the men in red.
“Any player wants to experience the atmosphere, the noise,” North added.
“You can feel it building as soon as you’re in the changing room and then you’re waiting to go out. As you run out it’s a sea of noise, a sea of red and the flames go off. It’s quite a good experience!”
While accepting the magnitude of tomorrow’s game, North is confident Wales have what it takes to overturn an eight point deficit and retain their title.
The upbeat wing goes head-to-head with Saracens man Chris Ashton tomorrow and knows that while the atmosphere may be red-hot, the players must remain calm.
“You have to pull yourself back and try and relax,” said the Llanelli Scarlet.
“That’s the way I think about it, otherwise you get too caught up in the emotion and the occasion.
“The form we’ve carried from the three away games into this one is good – we’re in a good place and to come back home and have a chance of the title is good for the whole squad.”
North’s only score of this year’s championship was the vital try away to France but he has struggled to get his hands on the ball in forward dominated wins against Italy and Scotland.
And with Wales needing to outscore England by at least seven, North says Wales will have to take any chances that come their way.
“I’ve played against Ashton a couple of times,” said the giant winger.
“He’s a tricky one. From a wing point of view he has a great work ethic and puts himself in positions to score tries.
“You may get your chance one in 10 times but when it arrives you make sure you’re there to take your opportunity.
“I haven’t had that much ball in recent games but it’s a case of going out there and playing I guess.”
