Both sides are taking part in Group B of the competition with the game live on the S4C website, kicking-off at 2.30pm.
Cowbridge registered a comprehensive win over Pembrokeshire Schools last time out and will be looking to maintain that recent run of form. Gower were perhaps unlucky to not to qualify for the Cup competition and a win in today’s game is more than within their grasp.
“We were pleased with how our last game went and hopefully we can recreate some of the things we did well in that game,” said Cowbridge Director of Rugby Matt Silva.
“There has been a lot of rain in the past few days but the artificial surface should make for a good game of rugby for both teams.
“Gower are an excellent side and we’ll have our hands full in dealing with them but we should be confident after our last result. There is no reason why we can’t get a similar result tomorrow.”
In the other fixtures to take place, Coleg Y Cymoedd face an away trip to Neath Port Talbot College as they hope to continue their impressive start to the competition. Last week saw Clive Jones’ side score some superb tries in an impressive defeat of defending champions Coleg Sir Gar.
The west Wales side will be looking to bounce back from their defeat to Cymoedd with a trip to the Brewery Field to face Bridgend College while Coleg Gwent face a trip north to Parc Eirias as they face Coleg Llandrillo.
In the Trophy competition, Cowbridge’s clash with Gower is the main focus while Newport High School host Pembrokeshire Schools.
