The lock forward has signed for the Dragons on a three year contract and has already begun training with the regional side. Alongside another promising second row Matthew Screech, he will contest the second row berths with veterans Robert Sidoli and Adam Jones
Hill has made the move back to Wales from Moseley, after becoming an integral part of the Billesley Common pack.
“I like Cory’s attitude and his youthfulness,” said director of rugby Lyn Jones. “We want to help fulfill his potential and Cory’s signature is a step in the right direction for Newport Gwent Dragons. Cory may have a great future at the Dragons as he certainly posses’ potential to be a very good player.”
Hill will hit the ground running as he has already been named in the Dragons squad for this weekend’s LV Cup clash against London Wasps.
