Alex Cuthbert is confident Wales will be a different team when they take on the Springboks in the second test in Nelspruit on Saturday.

Wales’ first test defeat left the squad disappointed in Durban but Cuthbert, who scored a great individual try in the defeat, is adamant the squad will show what they are capable of as they look to sign the season off on a high.

“We have to jut look ahead to next week and I think they know it is going to be a different Wales team playing in Nelspruit.

“We have just got to keep our heads up and look forward to that and hopefully we can get more consistency throughout the game.

“It seems to be the same situation as Australia in 2012. We did not play well in the first Test, but we came back fighting in the next game and probably should have won the second Test.

“The last couple of years we have been pretty good away from home. This year we are just dipping.

“Maybe the southern hemisphere sides are just a bit sharper than us at the moment.”
