The programme, which was revealed to mark 500 days to go, gives members of rugby clubs in Wales until 12 June to register their interest for Millennium Stadium games, before they go on general sale in September.
Scores of rugby fans throughout Wales have already logged on the Rugby World Cup 2015 ticketing website using the unique information supplied by their Clubs and thousands more are expected to do so before the process closes in seven days.
All those registered before 12 June will have the opportunity to purchase up to four tickets per match per person on a first come first served across the eight Millennium Stadium games, including two of Wales’ pool matches and two quarter-finals.
WRU Head of Sales and Marketing Craig Maxwell said: “We want to remind the members of rugby clubs all over Wales that there’s now seven days left to apply for the Rugby World Cup 2015 Rugby Community Ticketing programme, which rewards loyal rugby supporters with access to tickets for Millennium Stadium games before they go on sale to the general public.
“Thousands of fans out there have already made contact with their local Clubs and taken up the opportunity to pre-register their details at the Rugby World Cup 2015 website, but there’s still fans out there who are yet to get involved. Our message to the Clubs and their members is that this is their very-own, exclusive chance to get hold of Rugby World Cup 2015 tickets, and it’s one not to be missed.”
Rugby World Cup 2015 tickets for all 48 games including knock-outs and the final will go on sale to the public from 12 September, 2014.
