SWALEC Plate & Bowl draws

The draws for round two of the SWALEC Plate and Bowl have now been confirmed after last weekend’s matches threw up a couple of surprise results.

Brecon shocked last season’s Bowl champions CRCC with a hard fought 21-24 victory and will now host St Josephs in the next round to be played on 25th October, 2014.

Bonymaen were stunned by Neath Athletic who recorded a 22-15 victory with the victors earning a home tie in the next round against Skewen.

Caerphilly posed a major stumbling block for Senghenydd with the home side running out 11-5 winners in a keenly contested affair. Caerphilly will now host Ynysybwl in the next round.

In the Bowl, Treharris rocked last year’s runners-up Llantwit Major and secured a 29-20 triumph and will now travel to Cardiff Saracens in the second round.
