Yorkshire Carnegie was formerly Leeds Carnegie before changing their name in the summer. Although their home ground is Headingley in Leeds, the side are once again playing their home British & Irish Cup games “on the road” at Hull Ionians.
Like Aberavon, Yorkshire have won one and lost one of their British & Irish Cup games this season.
Yorkshire Carnegie Head Coach Gary Mercer has named a strong side with skipper Ryan Burrows amongst the returning players.
Yorkshire are also set to give a debut to Romanian international winger Stephen Hihetah, subject to international clearance, after he joined up with the club this week. The 23-year-old has previously played for London Scottish, Blackheath and Barking but qualifies for Romania through his mother.
Elsewhere in the backline, Pete Lucock, Jonah Holmes, Harry Leonard and Chris Pilgrim all return to action after missing the opening two games in the Cup.
Jack Walker and Paul Hill are both amongst the replacements, having trained with England U20s this week.
In the RFU Championship, Yorkshire are currently ninth after winning two and losing three of their games this season. Last season, they finished 3rd in the Championship, but lost to London Welsh in the Playoffs.
