After a hard fought 22-15 victory over Newbridge, Merthyr now have to travel to the Brewery Field to face Bridgend in the quarter-finals.

The remaining three quarter-finals are all Premiership affairs with Carmarthen Quins hosting Newport while current league leaders Pontypridd entertain Llandovery while Cross Keys face Bedwas at Pandy Park.

In the Bowl, Ystradgynlais tackle Caerleon after the former’s convincing 31-7 victory over Colwyn Bay in the last round while Ynysddu entertain Cwmavon after the latter recorded a convincing 34-5 win over Treharris.

Ynysowen travel to Cambrian Welfare after recording the biggest win in the last round with a 44-10 victory away to Nantymoel with Oakdale hosting Nantyffyllon in the remaining fixture.
