Saint-Andre has had a barren run against Warren Gatland’s men since taking charge of the Tricolours three years ago. He has yet to taste the sweet smell of success against Wales and has taken drastic measures to ensure he breaks his duck this weekend.
Big hitting centre Mathieu Bastareaud has been dropped to the bench with Remi Lamerat replacing him while scrum-half Morgan Parra replaces injured Rory Kockott and full-back Brice Dulin comes in for Scott Spedding.
Remi Lamerat replaces Bastareaud in midfield and Sofiane Guitoune comes in for the injured wing Teddy Thomas.
Romaine Taofifenua is the only change in the pack with the second row replacing the suspended Pascal Pape.
Classy Parra gets his chance after playing cameo roles against Scotland and Ireland.
“Parra is an experienced player who knows all about the top level. That can only benefit the team,” said Saint-Andre.
