From the whistle it was evident that the Quins were going to carry on their adventurous approach and little use of the boot was used throughout the game. In the 4th minute possession gained in their own 22 led to several players handling giving Shaun Jones the chance to show his class to make 20 metres up to the home line and when stopped the ball was gifted to Rory Gallagher to storm over for the opening score.

Two minutes later the Llanelli side made some sloppy handling errors and the ever alert Lee Williams was able to use his experience to cash in and gather and race 40 metres to go over under the posts.

The next five minute saw the Llanelli side camped on the Quins line but the defence were able to deal with this threat and their solid set piece saved the day.

More Quins enterprise entertained the crowd and the strength of their line out and set piece gave the home outfit very little chance to get any kind of grip on the match.

Midway through the half a Quins three quarter attack saw Rhys Williams brought down inches short and this gave the supporting Ellis Lloyd the chance to pick up and cross near the posts.

After 26 minutes Rhys Williams picked up with all the other 29 players in front of him, his jinking run sliced through the wall ahead and his well timed pass gave Haydn Pugh space enough to dive over for the bonus point score.

With confidence high the Quins players were handling with quality and after several players had handled from near the half way, Gallagher was left clear to crash over for his second try.

Clean possession from deep in their own half gave another chance for the forwards and backs to handle and Chris Banfield was able to dash along the touch line a full 50 metres to score in the corner.

In the 40th minute another Quins move had the Llanelli side in all kinds of trouble and Rhys Williams found Lee Williams on his inside to waltz over for his third try to follow up on his hat trick of last week. Craig Evans gave a faultless kicking display by converting every try and the first half finished 0-49.

Carmarthen Quins were not going to sit on their laurels and this was proved in the second half.

Lee Williams was in scintillating form and was over for his 4th try early in the half. Two minutes later Haydn Pugh crossed for his second try wide out wide but this made little difference to Evans who put over another touch line conversion.

Try number 10 was left to Banfield who rounded the defence after a Rhodri Clancy break to touch down under the posts. Dion Jones converted.

Substitute Chris Williams made 25 metres to score the 11th try, however,  the Llanelli side were not giving in and Josh Middleton went over for a try which was converted by Walters.

The Llanelli side in fairness were still able to resist the onslaught, but only just. A powerful burst by Dylan Morgan saw him crash throughthe defence for try number 12.

With time running out it was Morgan who again went over for the 13th score and Dion Jones made the conversion count 100% with the kick.

The referee was Ian Davies who gave a faultless display and his interpretation of the advantage law was appreciated by both player and spectator.

This win keeps the Quins in 3rd spot and in good shape for the visit of Bedwas next Saturday.
