In the Cup Penallta Youth defeated Cowbridge by 27-3. This comfortable win for the Cup holders set up the Ystrad Mynach team for their second trip to the final at the Millennium Stadium in successive years.
In the other Cup semi final, Pontypridd Youth held off a challenge from the experienced Aberavon Quins team. Pontypridd Youth won 13-5 and have progressed to the final of the Youth Cup for the first time in more than a decade.

In the Plate, Pontypool United Youth were too strong for Caernarfon Youth. The Gwent District team beating their North Wales rivals 25-0 at Llanidloes RFC. The other semi final between RTB Ebbw Vale Youth and Rhydyfelin Youth was a much tighter affair. The match ended as a 16-16 draw. The tie will be replayed on 28th March. Only then will Pontypool United Youth learn their Plate Final opponents.

In the Bowl, Ystalyfera lost to a very competitive Wattstown team by 18-3. Their Bowl Final opponents have yet to be determined as in the other semi final Porthcawl and Ystradgynlais drew 17-17. Again the tie will be replayed on 28th March.

The Finals of the Youth Cup, Youth Plate and Youth Bowl will be played on Saturday 18th April at the Millennium Stadium in what will be a day of celebration of Youth rugby.
