The Millennium Stadium will host eight matches, including Wales’ pool matches against Uruguay and Fiji and two quarter finals, in the 2015 Tournament.
World Champions New Zealand and RBS 6 Nations winners Ireland will also head to Cardiff during the pool stages, as will Australia, France, Canada and Georgia.
Hook, the Wales and Gloucester utility back, will be in Cardiff tomorrow to kick off an official flag hunt in association with RWC 2015 commercial partner Emirates.
He will be hiding a flag in Wales’ capital city and sharing clues on social media for fans to win the chance to lead some of the world’s greatest rugby teams out at the home of Welsh rugby.
The competition is open to 14-16 year old hopefuls who will need to uncover the photographic clues shared on Emirates Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and find the flag in Cardiff between 9am-9pm. Once located, entrants need to upload a flag selfie, using the #EmiratesFlag to be in with a chance to win.
Each valid entrant will also be entered into a draw to win the honour of leading out one of the world’s best teams for the Final at Twickenham on 31 October.
Hook said: “You never forget the first time you walk out with your team through the tunnel into a stadium packed full of supporters, especially for an international fixture on your home turf. Now Emirates is giving fans in Cardiff the chance to follow in the footsteps of sporting greats, and be part of bringing rugby home at the Millennium Stadium.”
