Last season’s beaten finalists Ebbw Vale begin their campaign away from home with a trip to Bridgend but will host Newport the following round at Eugene Cross Park.
Pontypridd captain Dafydd Lockyer has already set his sights on the first game of the season.
“We look forward to the new season and to the first game away to Llanelli. We are training hard and know that we must hit the ground running once the league campaign gets underway,” he said.
“It will be a long hard season for us as defending Premiership champions, once again we will be the team that everyone wants to beat, but we have high hopes of being there or thereabouts when things come to a close.
“The Play-Off Final against Ebbw Vale seems a long time ago now and we are looking forward, not back, focused on the season to come.”
