Tries from Dean Gunter, Owain Jones, Rhys Williams and two from Dan Parry helped the Ironmen to another victory with Lewis Evans scoring for the home side.
Fifth-placed Bargoed increased the points difference over sixth-placed Beddau with a 19-9 victory away at Mount Pleasant Park. Two tries from winger Gareth Dare and a penalty try were enough to seal the win. Sam Withers scored three penalties for Beddau but it wasn’t enough to seal the victory.
Pontypool made it nine league wins in a row as they snatched a bonus-point victory at home to Narberth. Joe Poppel, Robert Nash, Nathan Brooks and Ben Parry all touched down for the home side while Jonny Morgan scored Narberth’s only try, leaving the final score 22-10.
Despite an early try for Cardiff Met it was Swansea who ran out winners at the Cyncoed Campus, snatching a bonus point to win 33-12. Mike Sully, Jedd Evans, Andrew Claypole, Will Lewis and replacement Rory Gallaghar all scored for the Whites to keep Swansea second in the table.
A solid team performance was a big factor in RGC 1404’s 31-0 victory over Newbridge, who have now lost their last three league games. Two tries each for Grey and scrum-half Josh Leach and one for Tom Parry secured a bonus point for 4th placed RGC 1404.
Finally, the Saints hosted a 12-try thriller at Groes Fields that ended 41-29 to the Tata Steel as they overcame Glynneath to move up to ninth in the table.
