The Scarlets XVs first home game, in round one, was played at Carmarthen Park with the third home game, in January, to be played at Llandovery’s Church Bank.
The young Scarlets development side, under the leadership of head coach Dai Flanagan, will be looking to hit back after defeat to Bedford Blues and Bristol Rugby in the opening two rounds of the competition.
Speaking ahead of his side’s third round clash Dai Flanagan said: “We’ve had a tough start to the campaign losing out to a good Bedford side in terrible weather conditions and coming up against a Premiership quality side in Bristol full of experienced international talent.
“We’re pleased to welcome a couple of new faces to the squad for this round with the likes of Trystan Lloyd and Gavin Thomas joining us. Gavin has scored some fantastic tries for the Quins so far this season.
“Ulster will be a very organised side with development players from the provincial set-up and Saturday will be another tough test for us.
“Playing at Parc y Scarlets will be a privilege for these boys, especially the younger and less experienced members of the squad and as coaching staff we hope to see them rise to the occasion.”
