The hosts never looked back after taking the lead on 18 minutes through flying wing Rodri Usher, with fly-half Clayton Gullis converting. Newbridge replied with a penalty, before the Pooler pack took control and powered their way to a penalty try and a 14-3 lead at half-time.
Graham Bishop sliced through to put the hosts 19-3 ahead, before Newbridge pulled an unconverted try back.

Beddau scored seven tries in a second-half onslaught to hammer basement boys Llanharan 53-8.
A converted score from Jordan Odgers and a penalty from Sam Withers gave the hosts a slim 10-8 lead at half-time.
But the floodgates opened in the second-period with a strong wind at the backs of the hosts. Fly-half Lewis Egal crossed for a hat-trick, with Cody Barker also going over for a try-scoring double. The scoring was completed by Withers and Hywel Chatham, which edges Beddau closer to Bargoed and the Championship top five.
Jonathan Morgan scored a brace as Narberth overcame strugglers Glynneath 43-3. Morgan, Ollie Evans and Pat Roberts crossed in the first-half as the hosts battled the wind, with Lloyd Thomas adding a penalty for Glynneath.
