Division 1 West leaders Felinfoel managed to scrape home 17-11 at home against Llantwit Fardre in the Plate. Their win set up a trip to Ammanford in round three.
In the Bowl, Tumble held off Lampeter Town to win 10-0 and earn a home tie with Llantwit Major in the next round, while the University of South Wales won their game against Wrexham, which was switched to the BT Sport Arms Park, 39-19.
The students’ reward for their big win is an away trip to Cambrian Welfare, who were the beaten finalists at the Millennium Stadium last year.
