The Pandy Park outfit put 70+ points on Neath last time out while the Black and Ambers played their best game of the season to beat Cardiff. Both teams have two games in hand on the teams above them and both will be looking for a place in the play-offs.
The Newport pack has a familiar look with John Lavender keeping the number one spot after going so well last time out. Rhodri Jones is back at six and his all-action style will be needed this afternoon.
In the backs a new centre partnership sees Aled James line up alongside Wes Cunliffe and Ryan James and Arwel Robson get the nod at half-back. The coaches had some tough decisions to make and this is shown by the strength of the bench.
