Last season’s Plate runners-up, Penallta, have home advantage over Brecon, while Brynmawr, who needed extra-time to edge past Risca 26-16 in the first round, host Bala. Another north Wales side, Division 1 North leaders and champions Pwllhelli, also head south to face Ynysddu.
Aberavon Quins needed a last minute try to sneak past Kenfig Hill 15-14 in the first round and their reward is a long trek north to meet Ruthin. In the WRU National Bowl, reigning champions Burry Port were too strong for Banwen in Round 1 and will host St Clear’s as they attempt to extend their unbeaten run.
The 2013 champions, Wattstown, had a walk-over in Round 1 and will entertain Pyle this weekend.
