Having enjoyed an unbeaten run at the North Wales venue last season on their way to capturing the title, Wales will seek to continue that form at home against 2016 Junior World Championship finalists England and Ireland.
“The Junior World Championship this year didn’t go as hoped for us, so we’ve got a point to prove in the Six Nations,” said Wales U20 Head Coach Jason Strange. “If we can recapture the form that won us the title last year, I believe we can do just that – especially with the passionate support we get up in North Wales. With home matches against two very strong teams, we’ve got to put in some real quality performances at Parc Eirias.”
The date and venue for Wales’ opening-round match away to Italy is yet to be confirmed, but their remaining two away fixtures will see them face Scotland at Cumbernauld on Friday 24th February (KO tbc), and finishing the tournament against France at Montauban-Sapiac Stadium on Friday 17th March (KO 18:30, live on S4C).
