Looking forward to performing at the stadium Dane Lloyd said: “We’re big rugby fans, so playing Wales’ iconic stadium on Judgement Day is going to be cracking.

“It’s been non-stop since we got to the last two on The Voice, with Sir Tom Jones inviting us to support him on his forthcoming tour, and adding dates to our own headline tour.”

After gathering a huge fan base from their appearance on The Voice the duo will kick off their headline UK tour at the annual Focus Wales Music Festival, Wrexham on Friday 12 May.

Due to phenomenal demand an extra Welsh date has been added at the Tramshed, Cardiff on Saturday 21 October after selling out their existing Cardiff show in a week.

Orchard Entertainment promoter Dave Driscoll said: “Orchard has been working closely with the boys, promoting shows in Wales for the last two years and we’re really looking forward to seeing them in front of a huge crowd on Saturday, when the Welsh public has the chance to show them how much they’re appreciated at home, before they perform alongside their Voice coach, Sir Tom Jones on his upcoming tour UK Summer Tour.”

Judgement day returns on Saturday 15th April – when the four Welsh regions meet at Principality Stadium in back-to-back Guinness PRO12 fixtures.

Another record breaking turn-out is expected for the annual back-to-back Welsh derbies after last year’s 68,262 attendance.

Cardiff Blues take on the Ospreys in the first clash of the day, kicking off at 2.45pm, swiftly followed by Newport Gwent Dragons versus Scarlets at 5.15pm.

And Welsh Rugby Union Chairman Gareth Davies calls on supporters to fill the national ground to its rafters and make history once again, for JD V:

“The Judgement Day event has grown year on year and we are proud to say it has now become a ‘must visit’ fixture in the annual sporting calendar of both die-hard rugby enthusiasts around Wales and those event goers who know a good day out when they see one.”

INTO THE ARK formed when Dane and Taylor met as teenagers on the live circuit in Wales, bonding over their love of writing and each other’s taste in music.

Since then, the band have been doing everything they can to try and make those important steps in the music industry – busking, gigging, sleeping in the back of their second hand van, whilst endlessly writing and dreaming about landing a record deal.

In the closing months of 2016, INTO THE ARK released two indie singles on their own label, Blackwood Records (through Kobalt) and made a strong impression with debut single My Ghost – the track was picked up and played by BBC Introducing and BBC Radio Wales and it featured on Spotify’s New Music Friday playlist the day it came out which helped it chart on Spotify’s Viral 50 UK.

The video for My Ghost was premiered by CLASH Magazine and also featured on E4’s Made in Chelsea and was an airplay hit in The Netherlands after being played by national Dutch radio station, Q Music (the equivalent of BBC Radio 1 in the UK).
