Phillips names Emerging Wales team

The Emerging Wales team has enabled Phillips to select some players who fall just outside of the U18 age bracket, allowing greater scope when it comes to judging the next generation of women rugby players in the country.  

“This is a chance for myself and [assistant coach] Gareth Wyatt to see how these girls can perform under pressure,” said Phillips. “We know how strong the England women’s programme is, so this is a great challenge and certainly a superb opportunity for these players at Principality Stadium.”

Entry is free for the match via Gate 3, with the usual security measures in place for supporters entering Principality Stadium.
