It was the first defeat in eight games for the Georgians, who are also in Pool D in Japan, and earned the Fijians their fourth successive Pacific Nations Cup title. They beat Samoa 24-22 the previous weekend.
The Georgians drew first blood, but two tries from home scrum half Henry Seniloli gave Fiji the lead. Replacement scrum half Jale Vatubua, with two, Frank Lomani and debutant Semi Radradra scored the other Fijian tries, the latter being their 1,000th in Test rugby.
Georgia will get a taste of the City of Toyota Stadium, in Aichi, where they will open their World Cup campaign against Wales next year on 23 September, 2019, when they take on host nation Japan in a friendly on Saturday.
Fiji host Tonga, who beat Samoa 28-18 to claim the runners-up spot, this weekend in a game outside the Pacific Nations Cup.
